The hell week has finally ended and so has my birthday! I usually have a party for my birthday! But I'm stranded in Melbourne right now which leaves me with only LJJ. All my close friends are back in Singapore.. So it's a pretty quiet affair this year! Nevertheless, it was a good one with plenty of surprises here and there! Started all the way from 12mn, when Rach, Tim and Emelia came over with a tiny cake and a pressie :D Was very surprised cause they have never been to my crib before. Next up was Nic's cupcakes from Cupcake Central! I love their cupcakes and for my birthday, Nic got me four. He was so thoughtful to bring those stick candles along too! What an awesome way to start the day! Slept really late and rushed for my (4 mcq) test.
The morning started with 3 missed calls from a florist. So they called to ensure I'm home for the delivery! Was so excited cause I receive a bouquet for my birthday yearly. This year is definitely no exception :) The flowers were from my family, which is quite unusual. My dad only buys flowers for my mom when it's their anniversary or they're in KL. Dad says flowers in KL are cheaper relative to Singapore's! Called my dad to thank him and chat for a while.. So the conversation went like...
Dad: So where are u heading after this?
Me: I have some stuffs to settle then probably staying in the library to study for my test.
Dad: Oh, you might have another surprise coming up...
Me: HUH? *burst out laughing*
Dad: Aiyah, you leave me with no choice but to tell you. But it's still a surprise ok!
Me: LOLOLOL
So sweet of dad <3 So I went out to do some booth manning. Some of my friends came to pass me birthday pressies as well. Really nice of them :) Came home to find a cake from brunetti's!! :D It came all the way from my fave group of people :D Thank you, my sc colleagues!! It really made my day cause I wasnt expecting anything from them. Two surprises in a day is more than enough to keep me happy all week long. Especially when I had a really bad Monday cause of my foolishness. That's a different story altogether. But anyway, I was studying for my test before the class. At around 3plus, I got another buzz from the security, looking for me! Turns out to be another florist who wants to pass me some stuff! I was wondering who the sender will be cause not a lot of people know my address in Melbourne. Haha.. The package was actually a Me-to-you bear and chocolates who came from.... Dad, Mom and Sis AGAIN! Lololol. How thoughtful of them to try to surprise me twice. All along I thought Dad's 2nd surprise was referring to my sc colleagues' cake so the package was quite a surprise :)
Cant help but really so blessed all the time. Well, life is never smooth-sailing. But I thank God for my family and all the friends in Melbourne :) Not to forget all my friends in Singapore who called/msged/wished me in the various ways, I thank God for them too. I always meet the nicest people in life :) I would say it was an Awesome, awesome birthday though I spent my night studying for my 40% test. Okay, time for bed already. Goodnight lovelies x

So.. the hell week has began. I hope my ADD doesnt act up.

The past 24 hours has felt long. So many things happened within the day that made me feel so overwhelmed. I cant emphasize how much I hate the feeling of disappointment. It hits me so hard all the time that I can feel so down for the entire day. I'm so tired of disappointments after disappointments. Maybe this is the reason why I'm losing faith in people. I just dont know what to believe in anymore.

Minions: IT'S EASTER BREAKKKKKKKKKKK!
I've arrived at the Easter week in a blink of an eye. 6 more weeks to go before finals! After finals, I'll be heading home. I'm starting to like this place but home is always the best. Plenty of activities lined up for the week with assignments/tests all due right after this. Hoho hope everything will turn out awesome :) Nights world.

1000-1315: Project meeting
1315-1415: Lunch with project mates
1415-1430: Rushed back to school
1430-1700: PWM class
1700-1800: Roam around the streets/Shopping
1800-NOW: HOME
I was in my best of moods today cause of various reasons. My (act busy) prof has finally approved my request to change my 40% test to a later date or to be exact 19th April. I have little choice but to postpone it as my 50% MHP essay is due on the same date as my previous test date. To prevent myself going crazy/emo on the eve of the test/submission date, I rather sacrifice my birthday. My classes are pretty packed on my birthday anyway so I will have to spend my day with books whether I re-schedule the test or not. Point is unlike all the previous birthdays, I starting to feel that age is just a number. People say everyone grows old but not all grow up. Perhaps it's the things around me that have changed my perspective. Age is really just a number and as such, no big hoo-ha over my birthday this year.
I'm still clinging on to the little hope that the person who picked up my textbook will return it to me even though it has been a week. Hopefully my prof's appeal to the class will work this magic.
Easter break is finally coming :)
